DAY 1: MARRAKECH – HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS – DADES VALLEY:
Departure from Marrakech via the Tichka pass at 2260m altitude, visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, Lunch in Ouarzazate and visit the film studios and the Kasbah (if there is still time to do so), you will cross the magnificent oasis of Skoura, Kalaat M’gouna then the valley of roses to reach the gorges of Dades, you will spend a night there at the hotel ( Half board).
DAY 2: DADES VALLEY – TINJDAD – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA DESERT:
Departure in the morning to go even further in the desert to Merzouga, on the road you will visit the valley of the thousand Kasbah, Tinghir, Gorges de Todra, Erfoud, Rissani and the magnificent oasis of Tifilalte, to finally reach erg Chabi in Merzouga.
You will take a camel ride to admire the sunset and then join the bivouac where you will spend the night under the clear sky and full of stars.
DAY 3: EXPLORING THE SAHARA DESERT MERZOUGA:
After a shower and breakfast in the desert camp, you’ll start your camel trek back to the departure point to meet your driver and begin a discovery tour of the Merzouga area,
Not far off, there’s a village almost of its habitant are dark skin people, originally from Sub-Saharian countries to experience their Gnawa music and lifestyle. On the way to a nomad family, we will stop in a small deserted town of Mefes and its lead mines and minerals.
Dinner will be served in the hotel where you will spend the night.
DAY 4: MERZOUGA – ZIZ VALLEY – MIDELT – AZROU – IFRANE – FES:
We will wake you up early in the morning to watch one of the top world rating sunrise that will be embedded in your mind .
After breakfast in the camp we will make our way to Fes through ziz valley, first erfoud known for its fossils .then the Ziz Gorges provide a rocky passage and the Oued Ziz brings to Tafilalt oases. Passing by Errachidia (you’ll have lunch and enjoy Berber Hospitality beyond borders), Our trip continues alongside the trailing edge of the Cedar Forest to – Azrou – which in the local Berber means “rock,-located up a steep hill of cedar forests inhabited by endangered Barbary Apes.
Next stop is Ifrane a Tidy, ordered and modern city, that feels more like Switzerland relocated to the Middle Atlas . In late afternoon you will be driven to Fes, where we will end this 4-day tour from Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga desert.
