8 Days grand tour from Marrakech 

Day 1 : Arrival day – Marrakech

8-day tour trip from the red city, Marrakech to the Desert of Merzouga with Morocco4x4. Transfer from Marrakech airport to Riad.

Day 2: Marrakech Sightseeing

An 8-day private tour began today. The tour will take you to the main attractions and sights of Marrakech, the ‘Red City’ of Morocco. The discovery tour of Marrakech includes visits to the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Minaret, and the Saadian tombs. You will visit the Bahia Palace and the New Hellis area. Also, a visit to the Souks of Marrakech and stroll time in Marrakech. We will stay at the Riad/ Hotel, where we will have a traditional dinner and an overnight.

Day 3: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorge

You will start from your hotel in Marrakech and drive to the Dades Gorge via the Atlas Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. You will visit the architectural heritage Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and the Kasbah of Taurirt in Ouarzazate. Continue to the Dades Gorge, passing through the Valley of Roses and Skoura. Dinner and overnight in Dades Gorge.

Day 4: Dades Gorge – Toudra Gorge – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga Desert

On that day, we travel to Tinghir and visit the Toudra Gorge, where we can walk through the gorge. Departing from Ziz Gorge, we will pass through Rissani and Erfoud, where we can visit several fossil shops and factories. Continue our tour to the dunes of the Erg Chebbi Desert, where we will take a hotel and spend the night.

Day 5: Merzouga

After breakfast in a riad in Merzouga, continue with a private excursion to explore the desert area and visit the ‘khamliya Negro Village’. We will get to know their music and traditions. We then meet a nomadic family living in tents in the desert and have lunch with Berber pizza, a traditional Berber dish. After that, we will visit Rissani, a fortified village with many towers. Here you will visit a local bazaar. Return to Merzouga, from where you will take a camel ride across the dunes with an experienced guide. Arrive at Desert Camp and enjoy sunbathing on the dunes, and admire the charming sunset before dining in a traditional camp.

Day 6: Merzouga – Agdez – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate

The journey continues. Watch the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes, then take a camel ride to your riad for a refresher. From Ouarzazate, continue your journey through Morocco by 4WD, passing through Alnif, Tazarine, and Nqob. We continue over the Draa Valley to Ouarzazate. Tonight we stop at the Riad Hotel for dinner and a traditional Moroccan breakfast the next morning.

Day 7: Ouarzazate – Tizi Ntichka Pass – Marrakech

After breakfast, continue your private tour of Marrakech through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains. Visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and the Kasbah of Telouet, and then through the Tizi Ntichka mountain, you will arrive in Marrakech. We will spend the night in a traditional riad/hotel in Marrakech, with dinner.

Day 8: Marrakech – Transfer to the airport.
