Morocco4x4 Welcomes you to the ancient city of Fez!

This city is known for its long history, vibrant culture, and captivating architecture. On this city tour, you will explore the cultural, historical, and architectural sites that make Fez one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco.  We will begin our tour at the famous Fez Medina. This UNESCO World Heritage site is the oldest and largest car–free urban area in the world. As we explore the narrow winding streets, you will be able to admire the ancient architecture and traditional markets.  After that, we will visit the medersa Bou Inania, a 14th-century theological school, and mosque. This site is renowned for its beautiful architecture, intricate mosaics, and intricate wooden carvings.  Our next stop will be the Royal Palace of Fez. This impressive palace was built in the 13th century and served as the official residence for many of Morocco‘s sultans. Here, you will be able to admire the palace‘s captivating architecture and learn about the fascinating history of the royal family.  Our final destination will be the renowned Fez tanneries. Here, you will be able to witness the traditional methods used for tanning leather, as well as the vibrant colors of the dyes used to create leather products.  At the end of the tour, you will have a full understanding and appreciation for the culture and history of Fez. Later, we transfer you to one of the traditional Riads in the old Medina.
