FOR LOVERS OF NATURE AND WINTER SPORTS
On this excursion to the Ourika Valley, we depart from your hotel or riad in Marrakech at 9 in the morning. We travel about 60 km towards the Ourika valley through the Haouz plain. Next, we explore the Berber villages that are found throughout the valley. At the end of the road, you will be able to tour the seven waterfalls of Seti Fatma (lunch on site). This site can be visited in winter and summer when people arrive to escape the heat of Marrakech ready to enjoy the fresh air of the mountain area. The small Berber villages are hidden among the lush vegetation and visitors can observe the daily life of the inhabitants of the place. In addition, these towns have restaurants and hotels to enjoy a drink or spend the night before continuing on the way. In winter, the Ouika Valley is covered in snow. The time has come for snowboard and ski fans to take advantage of the possibilities that the valley offers to practice winter sports. The closest towns for skiers are Seti Fatma and Oukaimeden. Oukaimeden is the only ski resort in the Ourika Valley. The recommended months for skiing are November and December. The Ourika Valley is truly a magnificent destination for all who visit it, a wonderful experience for nature lovers and winter sports enthusiasts.
