Overview
This desert tour from Fes of 7-day will take you on an enjoyable experience in Morocco. You will travel from Fes to Marrakech. First, you will discover the Medina of Fes and then, via the Atlas Mountains road, you will cross over the largest forest in North Africa, the Cedar forest in Azrou, and you will reach the famous sand dunes Erg Chebbi in the Merzouga desert. Also, you will spend one night in a camp before you leave for Ouarzazate the next day passing over the impressive gorges of Todgha. You will explore the fortified Kasbah of Ait ben Haddou before your tour end in the red city of Marrakech.

Day 1: Arrival day – First day of the desert tour from Fes
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or riad in Fez. Depending on your arrival time, a private tour of Fez can be arranged. Return to your room and enjoy dinner.
Day 2: Discovery tour of Fez
Before we start our desert tour from Fes, we will first explore the city. After breakfast, a private guided tour to discover Fez. Your local guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the most attractions and must-see sights of this ancient city. Visit the golden gates of the Royal Palace, stroll through the Fes E’lbali (Old medina), and see Medrasat El Bou Ananias, Nejarine Fountain. Of course, we cannot forget the Mellah, a Jewish quarter of Fez, the tannery quarter, and the crafts guilds. A delicious free lunch will be served on the day.
Visiting Fes is incomplete without visiting the main attraction Qaraouin Mosque. It’s one of the oldest and most famous mosques in the Muslim world and was the first university in Morocco to be attended by famous scholars such as Ibn Khaldun, Ibn al-Khatib, and Averroes. It is still considered one of the most important spiritual and intellectual centers of Islam and is named after the neighborhood in which it was built, the Kairouan refugee quarter. Built-in several stages, the Karawin Mosque was first founded in 859 by Fatima el Bint Mohamed ben Abdella el Fihri, a pious woman from Kairouan.

Day 3: Fez – Midelt – Errachidia – Erfoud – Mezouga Desert
On the third day of our desert tour from Fes, after breakfast at your hotel, visit the beautiful town of Yifranu. Crossing a cedar forest, you will reach the town of Midelt, where you will have lunch. We then continue our way to Errachidia, Erfoud, and Rissani, the gateway to the desert. Upon arrival in Erg Chebi, in the Merzouga desert, we will take a camel ride and go on a wonderful journey to explore the most spectacular sights in the desert and also to attend the panoramic sunset over the dunes. After this unforgettable experience, you will return to your camp in the heart of the desert. Spend the night under the magical starry sky.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Todra – Ouarzazat
Today you will have the opportunity to attend the breathtaking sunrise in the early morning. Back at our camp, we will have breakfast and then head to Palmeraie Rissani, an ancient imperial city and the birthplace of the current royal family. Where we will visit the big traditional Souk, it’s a great opportunity for those who want to buy a souvenir from Morocco. We then drive to Todra Gorge, one of the most beautiful landscapes of the trip. We will have a lunch break while visiting the Todra Gorge and then continue along the ‘Kasbah Road’, a series of earthen fortresses, towards Ouarzazate, known as the African Studio. Dinner and overnight stay here.
Day 5: Ouarzazte – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast around 8 am, visit the Kasbah Taourirt, the former residence, and harem of the Pasha of Marrakech, with a local guide. The journey continues to the famous walled city of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch will be served at one of its beautiful traditional restaurants. You will then continue to Marrakech, where you will stay overnight and have dinner in a hotel or riad.
Day 6: Private guided tour of Marrakech
On the sixth day of our desert tour from Fes, after breakfast in your hotel or riad, you will take a guided tour of Marrakech to explore this charming city. You will have several visits: the Menara Gardens, the Koutoubia Mosque (admission for non-Muslims only), the Bahia Palace, Jemaa-e-Fna Square, the Old Medina, the Jewish Quarter (Mellah) of Marrakech, and the Majorelle Gardens. Return to your hotel or riad by the end of the day.
Day 7: Marrakech – transfer to the airport.
The last day begins with breakfast and, depending on the time of your transfer to Marrakech airport, free time, an optional private tour of Marrakech.

2- An evening in Jemaa el-Fna Square:

3- Visit the Majorelle Garden:
